At Bear Left Studio, we believe that every business is different, which means every website should be too. We take the time to understand your goals, audience and personality before recommending the right approach for you.

Small websites are £850 and professional websites up to 10 pages are £1,950. Logo design starts at £800 and managed WordPress hosting is £30 a month.

Our prices are transparent, so you can work out roughly what you need before we speak.

The best website investment isn’t necessarily the cheapest option. It’s the one that helps you confidently attract the right clients and grow your business long-term.

Website designers do far more than make websites “look nice”.

A good website designer combines strategy, branding, user experience, SEO and visual design to create a website that genuinely works for your business. That means helping visitors trust you, understand what you offer and feel confident taking the next step.

At Bear Left Studio, we also help businesses show up online in a way that feels authentic to them. Your website should feel like an extension of your business personality, not a generic template that could belong to anyone.

Great website design is about clarity, confidence and connection.

A well-designed website should:

  • Clearly communicate who you are and what you do
  • Feel aligned with your brand personality
  • Be easy to navigate on all devices
  • Guide visitors naturally towards taking action
  • Load quickly and perform well
  • Support your visibility on search engines

Most importantly, a great website should speak directly to the people you actually want to work with, rather than trying to appeal to everyone.

SEO stands for Search Engine Optimisation. In simple terms, it helps your website become more visible on Google and other search engines.

SEO within website design includes things like:

  • Fast-loading pages
  • Mobile-friendly design
  • Clear website structure
  • Optimised page titles and content
  • User-friendly navigation
  • Relevant keywords and metadata

Good SEO starts long before a website launches. At Bear Left Studio, we build SEO foundations into the design process from the very beginning. What that does not mean is a ranking. Google decides that, and a new website usually takes six to twelve months to build any real search visibility.

AI can certainly help create websites faster, but it can’t replace genuine human strategy, creativity and connection.

AI tools are great for speeding up certain tasks, generating ideas or helping with basic layouts. However, they can’t truly understand your audience, brand personality, values or the emotional connection that makes people choose your business over another.

The most effective websites combine smart technology with real human insight. That’s where experienced designers still make all the difference, especially for businesses wanting to stand out rather than blend in.

Finding the right website designer is about more than comparing prices or portfolios. You’re looking for someone who truly understands your business, your audience and the way you want your brand to feel.

When choosing a website designer, consider:

  • Their communication style
  • Their previous work and branding approach
  • Whether they understand SEO and strategy
  • Reviews and testimonials
  • Whether you feel comfortable and understood

The best designer-client relationships feel collaborative, supportive and honest. You should feel excited and confident about the process, not overwhelmed or pressured into things you don’t understand.

No. We build small brochure websites of up to 10 pages, so no ecommerce, membership sites or custom booking systems. If that is what you need, we are happy to point you somewhere good.
